interesting idea for a thread...

1997- Dell XPS D3333 Dimensions Desktop
512 RAM
20 GB Hard Drive
Windows 98 (Yes, I went for seven years with Windows 98... the machine was extremely slow and painfully annoying...)

2004- HP zv5330us laptop
512 RAM
80 GB Hard Drive
Intel Centrino w/ Hyperthreading Technology
Windows XP Home

January 2006- Dell XPS M140 laptop

512 RAM
160GB Hard Drive

Mac OS X 10.4.5 (since upgraded to 10.4.7)

Overall, my best experience has been BY FAR the Intel Mac, though the HP does have some good memories...

Oh, can't forget these:

--Junked it

Some Packard Bell. Dont remember the specs, but it started smoking, so its junked. Think I got it in 97.

Next one- 1998
Pentium 233MHZ

Brother Laser Jet lol everyone remembers those
-Still have the processor and RAM, which is in my RAM stash.

Next one- 2002
Pentium 3 733MHZ
256MB
20GB
Windows XP Pro
It was one of those HP Mini Desktops that were almost as small as a mac mini. It had regular PC RAM and a regular HD.
-Still have the Processor and RAM in my stash.

Next one- 2003
Celeron 1.4GHZ
512MB
20GB
GeForce 5200FX 128MB
Windows XP Pro
-Still have this one. Just the tower with the mobo and processor. RAM is in y stash.

Next one- 2005
P4 1.6GHZ
768MB
20GB
GeForce 5200FX 128MB
Win XP Pro
-Traded for my iBook G4 in late 2005, which had a bad HD. But got replaced

2005
HP Pavillion ZE4420 Laptop
1.8GHZ Athlon XP
768MB RAM
40GB
64MB ATi Radeon something...
Windows XP Home
- This computer fried, I took the HD and RAM out and put it in the iBook. I gave it to a friend. Spilled coke on it, so if he can fix it, he can have it.

2005 iBook G4
933MHZ G4
640MB RAM
40GB
32MB Radeon 9200.
Fedora Core 5 (didn't have OSX cds at the time).
--Traded for iBook G3

2005
HP Pavillion Desktop
2.4GHZ P4
768MB
GeForce 5200FX 128MB(this is a different one from the other 2, this one fried though)
40GB
WinXP Pro
- I didn't have this computer long. In October, a power surge killed everything except the video card and RAM. Put the video card in another computer, then later on it fried. The RAM is currently in my PC in my sig.

2006-
1GHZ P3
384MB
40GB
GeForce MX440 84MB with Dual VGA. This card is in my current PC. Still have the computer. May make it into a linux box.

2006-
Compaq in my sig.

2006-
iBook G3 in my sig. I traded the G4 for this. The G4 had no OS, and the Combo drive was bad. I've kept in touch with the guy I traded with and he said he thinks there may be something else, but its fixable. He sent me OS CD's too, so now I don't have to worry about when I need to reinstall. Its a 2001 Dual USB 12", first of the remade white iBooks.

2006- PowerMac B&W
Technically I don't have this computer yet. I don't even know the specs. But its at my dad's work and they ordered a new computer to replace it, so they are probably going to give it to my dad. For some reason my dad won't keep it so he can learn OSX, but whatever. I'll have a new toy that I can shove a ton of parts into.

Currently have a new HP OfficeJet, HP Scanner, HP iPaq Pocket PC, Mad Dog DVD-RW USB2.0. I got tons of stuff.

There you guys go, you said computers within the last 10 years.
