Hiya, I use 2 system accounts and when I want to look at the applications on the first account everything is diplayed, the 2nd won't show anything, I'm lost on this one.
IE when I try to double click the hard disk icon on the 2nd account nothing happens.
I hope I'm exlaining this properly, can anyone shed any lite on this.
Thanks for looking.

On that second user account, what happens when you press (in Finder):

Shift+Command+A = Show Applications Folder.

Hey that works, so how comes double clicking the hard disk icon dosn't?
If you have multiple accounts does this mean things only work on your original account as normal whereas on the others you have to use control commands?
Can anyone explain this in simple terms?
Many thanks for your help.

No, there seems to be a problem with your second user account.

I'd recommend repairing disk permissions and possibly try deleting the finder's plist file.

("/Users/YOURNAME/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist")
