I can't begin to imagine how much teasing this kid is going to have growing up.......children can be almost more cruel than adults. He can't even buy a normal pair of gloves for winter.

Yeah if he was my kid I would consider home schooling him, or a private school.

^^ To be honest, I think that would be worse in the long run.Maybe just through elementary school or something.

It's hard to say reallt what will happen. I've seen kids with minor issues/disabilities get treated very well and others get ostracized, all within the same group of kids.

I suppose the extra fingers could be useful if the kid chooses a relevant career path, but is there a reason to not remove the extra toes, assuming the family can afford it? There's no advantage gained there, and it would only result in increased difficulty in finding shoes.
