New Macbook bluetooth issue

I bought a new 2.4 aluminum macbook about two weeks ago. I can perfectly send things from the macbook to my cell phone, but today i decided to try to send some files from my phone to the macbook, and it doesn't work. It appears as connection failed. Both devices are visible, paired and in range.
Any ideas?

have you used Bluetooth file Exchange in Utilities to copy files off the phone
