I'm looking for an external hard drive to backup data on my pre-Intel G5 Imac. I would like to stay under $200 and ran across the "Iomega 500GB Triple Interface Professional Silver Series Desktop Hard Drive". As I know pretty much next to nothing about this topic, I would appreciate any information about this hard drive regarding compatibility and reliability.

I'm open to suggestion regarding other proven storage products.
