I open the Rise of Nations Gold installer and am greeted with this delightful message:
"Mac OS X's sound system could not be initialized. Use the Audio MIDI Setup utility (found in Applications/Utilities folder) to ensure your Mac's output is 44 Khz, 16-bit."
I go into the Audio MIDI setup, and my sound output is already 44 Khz, 16-bit. I tried every option on every other forum. Does anybody have any other suggestions?
