Help With MacBook Pro

Hi Everyone,

I am having troubles with my Mac. This is my second year with my Mac and I'm pretty familiar with the basic things. I recently had this problem where when I close my computer lid, and I open it back up again, it doesn't turn on. I then have to restart my whole computer again and it's very slow. Can anyone advise me what's wrong? I brought it to my school's "Tech Hub" and they repaired the disk 2 times and the problem is still here.

Please help! I need to know what's wrong because I can't go from one class to another and turn it on and off.

At a guess you mean you close the lid, it goes to sleep, when you open the lid it does not wake from sleep and you have to force shut it down?
If that is the case try tapping a couple of keys on the keyboard when you open the lid to make it come out of sleep. If that does not work though hopefully 6string's idea will work for ya
