Does iPad(or iPhone) have front delete function?

No, they don't. After 3+ years on a Mac now though, I find myself using the backspace key almost exclusively even at work on my XP machine.

And yes, that was probably one of my biggest gripes early on.

Yeah it bugs me. I mean I can fn+Del on my Macbook Pro, just wish they had something like that on the iPad

I use the front delete often enough on my MBP that I would also miss it if it were gone. I'm disappointed to hear that it's not on the iPad.
