B&W G3 Hard disc size (How big can it be?)

2009 24" 2.66ghz 4GB ram 640GB HD, Powermac G4, Powerbook G3.
Hi all, I have an old blue & white G3 (running Tiger, 1GB ram), My external hard drive i used for photos music etc has just died, So i want to put an extra hard drive inside,What is the max size the machine will run ok or doesn't it matter?, Thought i should ask before i buy one!.

Bryphotoguy is correct. 128GB Max on the Internal IDE Controlers. You can get a PCI IDE card and then put any sized drive inside your B&W. PCI IDE cards that work in OSX are not cheap though.
