Browsing speed slowed down a lot?

For the past day my internet has been really slow when browsing. Today it was struggling to load speedtest.net homepage. Eventually I got it to load and found that the download speed was fine.

Yet the browsing speed is still slow. On every other device the browsing is fine. Even on my bootcamp partion there is no speed problems. So how come my Mac has went really slow and how do I fix it? I already tried diffrent browsers as well as DNS addresses and had no luck.

Yes network is secure. Only other people using it are people in the house.

Any idea on how to fix? Internet only seems to be slow on my Mac, nothing else.

I will assume you have rebooted your mac. If not then start there.

If other computers on the network are fast and your computer is slow (for web browsing) then it could be a dns issue. Check to see if your mac is using the same dns server as the rest of the computers on your network. It can make a major difference in how fast web pages load.
