Logging on problems

I have an old macbook and now whenever i try to log onto the admin account it will just go to a blue screen and then back to the log in screen. It's weird because i cant log onto that account but i can log onto a user account? anyone know how to fix this?

What have you installed &/or changed recently?

Try booting into safe mode to see if you can log into it there.

Shut down
Press power button
Press and hold the shift key as soon as you hear the chime
You can release it when you see the apple on the screen
It will take awhile
