CD-Rom Drive

Hello.. my 12' G4 powerbook's cd drive won't take in any cds. Its out of warranty and i have dropped my mac (eeek! i travel alot!) and hi the corner near the drive... any suggestion on wheter it is worth getting this replaced or attempt to repair this myself (i see this look like quite a job!) or should I dig a grave (sniffle......)

Don't install it yourself unless you are very confident. It involves removing alomst all of the insides to get at the optical drive! You could buy a new internal one such as this one and then find somewhere to install it. I got mine from the US and got it installed in the UK all for around £95 which I thought was quite a bargain.
