Is there any user data stored on logicboard?

I have a Macbook Pro 13" 2009 and I'm looking at selling it.

I've always believed that if you securely erase or (even better) replace the hard drive then no personal information is recoverable from the computer.

However, paranoia (possibly) has got the better of me and I'm now wondering whether there is anything on my Mac's motherboard/logicboard that stores personal information re: files/internet usage/applications etc.

I understand that NVRAM stores user settings like volume and back light, and theoretically if you swapped hard drives this would remain unchanged.

However, does it store any of the things mentioned above and is there anything else, other than the hard drive, that would?

Nope, nothing on the logicboard. Erasing the HD is sufficient.
