mac book pro upgrade

I want to uprgrade my mac to 8 gb .. at min it is 4 .. do i have to run both same ram cards ?? also where is best place get ram ??

If you could post your MBP model number that would be great, we could then direct you to more specific RAM pages etc, however Crucial is a good place to start as it can scan your MBP and tell you exactly which RAM you need but also links to get/ buy it.

yep crucial is good, and so is amazon. make sure you check, as Simon said, that your mac can actually take 8GB.
