I am new to using Xcode and new to C++. I am trying to figure out how to use Xcode to write C++ programing. I can not seem to figure out what I need to open in order to start writing code. Thanks for any help!

Can you be more specific? What have you tried to do? What do you know? What have you done? What are you running into that's causing some confusion?

I cant seem to find the right project or file to input code then compile it and run it. There is alot available I believe from this IDE and i cant seem to find the right place to start writing the C++ code.

And I don't know really anything about Xcode and I have only been able to select new projects on Xcode but it doesnt seem like a place to actually compile C++

I think a good place for you to start would be the Xcode user guide. That should help you get started.
