Macbook Pro - AC Adapter snap outs

I'm new to the Macbook pro - what are those two things that snap out on the corners of the ac adapter? To hang on something?

actually they are to wrap the cord around when storing it for space in your bag .. there should be
a little clip by where the plug goes to the computer that will hold the cord in place

I like how apple designed their power packs with the mag safe and built-in cable management

Have not seen HP Compaq, Dell or anyone else do something like this ..

They all use Velcro straps...
