Logic Board problems

Recently, my black Macbook (late-2006) started acting up on me and the night before my final exam, the logic board decided to end its run. Would it be worth purchasing a new logic board, or just selling the rest of the laptop for parts with hopes of getting a new MacBook?

Also, would it work if I attempted to switch out my RAM from the MacBook and tried to put it into an iMac G5?

Thank you all!

Unless you can find a logic board for that machine at a decent price and do the work yourself, it's probably better to buy a new machine. The memory from your MacBook will not work in the G5.

Regards.
