Photoshop through Parallels

Okay - so I've heard that trying to run basically any Adobe programs on the new Intel macs make it turn to ****.

But was this about the older pre-intel versions? So what if I run a Windows version through Parallels?

Or if I must - bootcamp XP to be completely seperate.

Any ideas?

I run photoshop cs2, fireworks, dreamweaver, flash, acrobat all on Intel MBP C2D. I dont see any noticeable drag. Have several programs open at once.

Photoshop Elements 4.0 runs beautifully on my MacBook (2 GHz, 2 GB RAM). I have Photoshop CS2, but I haven't tried loading it on this machine.

I haven't tried Photoshop or Elements under Parallels either, but Adobe Audition (which is a total resource hog) runs perfectly well under Parallels on my MacBook.
