Password Protection?

Hey All,

I have a MacBook, and (unfortunately) I am still young and do live @ home with my parents. I noticed my mom always goes in my room to use my computer -- because her PC stinks. Is there any way I can put a password protection on my MacBook, so that when I go away from my computer (like I leave the house) there is a way so my mom can't use it?

I just switched to a MacBook from a PC, and I know on PC's you can put a password protection on a screensaver or when the computer goes idle.

Just wondering if theres a way to do that for Mac?

Thanks!

Every user account in OS X can have a password assigned to it. You can do this in System Preferences under Accounts.
