Safari Mail Interface Problem

Recently I have found that what I normall could do in any window within Safari ...Mail Contents Of This Page/or Mail Link To This Page... opens a new Mail program (one already running) and sometimes offers an empty message to send, sometimes does not. It means closing the newly opened Mail program...sometimes having to do a force quite... and then copying and pasting the link/page into a blank mail in the previously running Mail program.

ANYBODY???
