Transferring files from a thumb drive

Hi:

I have files on my thumb drive that were saved on a PC.

I put the thumb drive in the USB port on my Mac, but when I open the file it says the file can't be found.

What do I need to do to allow me open them?

Ooops it would mean that you would need to copy the files off before formatting the flash drive and then copy them back.

What you need to do is make sure that the thumb drive is formatted to fat16 or fat32 and not ntfs.
