I am trying to convert movie files taken with my EVO 4g for use in iMovie. The format the evo saves in is .3gp. Finder's more info option shows the following details for these files
dimensions: 1280x720
Codecs: MPEG-4 Video, AMR Narrowband
Duration: 2:25
Audio channels: 1
Total bit rate: 8,015
I have no idea what the frame rate is.
I have tried using MPEG Streamclip to convert to .mov at full quality, but I still seem to get quite a bit of quality loss.
Does anyone know of a better format to convert these to which will make them editable in iMovie AND keep the original HD quality? Is iMovie capable of editing this?
