iTunes Music Store to open in Japan next year
December 10, 2003 - 06:31 EST While in Tokyo for the opening of the new Apple Store Ginza, Apple CEO Steve Jobs told The Asahi Shimbun that the company plans to open its iTunes Music Store to Japanese consumers as early as next year, notes Macworld UK. Apple is currently in talks with Japanese record labels seeking approval to sell their artist's music.
My Comments Even though Napster, AOL and M$ music services will probably take a huge chunk of the US market, I think Apple will be number 1 world wide by a landslide.
