Hi, I have a 109MB mps file that is approx 2hrs worth of music. My question is, how can i can compress this to then burn on to a blank cd that has 80 mins worth of space? Many thanks, Robin

Do you want the file as data (backup), to play on your Mac, or play on a stereo system?

Some applications will burn your music to a dvd playable on a system designed to play .aifc or .aiff files (like a standard CD) from a dvd. The process is complex and take a long time, so do your research.

Alternatively, split your 120 mins of music into two (~) 60 minute segments, using an audio editor and then record the two to CDs.
