2012 Mac Mini with 16GB RAM
So, i've finally got my new Mac Mini and hooked it up to my Toshina 42" TV via HDMI. I've run through the setup and all is well...almost. I find that I cannot see the whole desktop. The mouse cursor vanishes off the edges and there's a menu at the very top that I cannot see.

Any ideas how to fix this?

What resolution is the Mac Mini set to?

It's set to the 'best option' for the display which I think should be 1080p. When I do into the Display preferences I don't see any resolutions available. It has detected that my TV is a Toshiba.

SOLVED: Played around with the 'Underscan' slider and this zooms the display in and out (or appears to at least). Setting it about halfway showed the whole desktop.
