Deleting linux partition in triple boot mac

i have a triple boot mac. I would like to delete the linux partition as i dont need it anymore.. how can i do it? is it safe to just delete the partition and create a new partition from the unallocated space?

Your Mac's Specs
MacBook Pro 15" 2014, 2.2GHz i7, 16GB RAM, 250GB SSD, OSX 10.9.5 - iPhone 5s 16gb
Go to Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility, click on the Linux partition and delete it from there.
