Like any computer, a Mac can only manage so much before it runs out of steam. What are the specs of your Mac and what applications do you have open when it freezes.

my mac pro is 13inch and is i7...it will freeze when i open too many chat rooms plus safaris'...or when I'm watching movie..and the most frequent one is when I'm using face time...i understand that face time will not work properly because of internet connection problems...but why is it affecting my whole mac until i can't even move the mouse cursor and even the keyboard buttons is not functioning too?

are the chat rooms in flash?

I find too much flash + too much safari to be a recipe for problems.

One thing you could try is using another browser like chrome or firefox, see if it improves things.

Make sure you have plenty of ram too. (at least 4 gigs, 8 is nice)
