Deleting Sidebar Item in Finder?

Hello,

I have a file in my sidebar of finder that I can't remove. I deleted the file from my harddrive and now when I try to click on this file it says I can't open it because the original item could not be found.

I tried to go into preferences, sidebar to try and remove it, but there is no box to uncheck to remove. Does anyone know how to remove this item? Thanks in advance.

Just drag the icon off the sidebar

hehe, I guess I should have tried that. I should have known apple would have made it that simple to fix, still being in a windows mode I assumed it would be something more complex.
