Lion Update Crash

Hi

Testement to how good my Imac is this the first time I've posted with an issue. I've had my Imac since 2006 with no issues until now.

Basically the last OSX Lion updated failled half way thru and killed my Imac dead. I managed to get everything off my HDD that I needed and refromated the drive,

Imac is now stuck in Ultillity mode, i really don't want to reinstal Lion biut it seems like its the only optionI still have my Snow leopard install disk.
Anyone have a work around for this, I miss my mac.

If you don't want to reinstall Lion, you can boot from your Snow Leopard DVD by holding down Option as you turn on the computer and selecting the DVD as the boot option.

You really should reinstall Lion, however.
