Cannot search on Mac Outlook 2011

Basically im using a MacBook Air running Outlook 2011 and when you click on the magnify glass to search emails it always comes back no results

Ok fellows and gals i fixed this issue by just reinstalling the Office 2011 and doing the critical updates within the outlook application

I appreciate everyone taking a look for me
