I hear about drives going down, and now it's happening to me!
My LaCie Porsche 160GB Firewire only gets a blinking amber light, there is no motoring up, no sound, no vibrations at all, just a blinking light. I have changed the power source over with my other one, no difference. The other one works just fine with both power sources.
Is it possible to transfer the drive itself to a new case, does anyone know if this works?
I'm looking at a AMS VENUS DS3 DS-PL3507CBK 3.5" USB 2.0 & FireWire 400 External Enclosure - OEM...
