Hello,

I've recently upgraded several Macs to Snow Leopard however on one of them I'm having an issue where, when the Mac is back at the login window (used to lock the machine when I'm away from it) the screensaver comes on, despite it being set to never come on. There also appears to be no reference to this behaviour in the usual screensaver plist file.

I turn the screens off when they're not going to be used for a while and don't wish the screensaver to come on, ever.

The screensaver never comes on when the machine is not at the login window.

Does anyone know where I may find a setting or plist to change this behaviour?

Thanks in advance.

Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
First I'd repair permissions, and if this doesn't work, set up a new admin account, log out of the old one and into the new one, and see if the behaviour continues.

Hi did you ever find a solution? I have the same problem too..

No I'm afraid I didn't find a way to stop the screensaver from coming on.

It appears to be standard behaviour. Both my work and home Mac Pro's do the same
