Mac noob here. I just removed WMP but now flip4mac isnt associating wmp files to quicktime and as a result no longer opens them. How do I revert back to associating wmp files to quicktime including wmp web streams. ty

Welcome to Mac-Forums, [email protected].

Click on a .wmv file, right-click and select Get Info from the Contextual Menu that appears. In the Get Info window, look at the Open with: section and in the drop-down select QuickTime from the list (if it doesn't show up in the list, just select Other and navigate to QuickTime to select it). Then click on the Change All... button right below and you should be all set from now on.

Actually I figured it out. If you go into System Preferences in the Apple menu, there is flip4mac icon. Open it and under Player hit Reclaim. Thanks for your response anyways.:D
