I recently did an upgrade to the Leopard OS. However, once I did this my computer is failing to mount my external hard drive. It is a Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini and it has lots of information backed up on it.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with this problem and direct me toward getting my computer to recognize this hard drive.

Thank you.

AS a first step, can you see it in system profile menu > Get Info > more info

Secondly can Disk Utility see the drive and can you run a repair on it

I haven't tried different cable. I don't have any other cables anyway to be honest. It was literally working just yesterday and then I upgraded to Leopard and now it just isn't mounting for some reason.
