I have a 5G 30GB iPod and lately every time I plug it in to sync, it freezes. I end up unplugging it from the USB, toggling the hold switch, then holding down menu and the select button. At that point I hear a loud slick when the hard drive stops spinning then a loud click when it starts again and eventually the apple pops up and it's ok. This has happened the last few times I've tried to sync it. Does anyone have any advice on what could be making it do this? Or something I can do different to try to avoid it?
Thank you!
