I just bought a used Mac Book and will be updating to Snow Leopard later today. My question is, will I be getting the release version or the most updated version? Does that make sense? Please help a newbie. Thanks

Probably not the most up to date version. Just do the install and then run Software Update.

I'm not sure what that means.

Sorry. That means, "Where did you get the disc?" In other words, what type of disc is it? (If you just answer that first question, sometimes it gives away the answer to the second.)
