So pretty much i was trying to partition my lacie 500 gig hd and instead of it adding a 32gig partition it deleted everything and reformatted the drive. Was just wondering how i would go about getting the files and everything i had back?
This happened because i was using window's disk management instead of mac's disk utility, for some reason disk utility wouldn't let me partition it to ntfs or fat32.
I know i could take it to a computer shop and they would do it, but i'm a poor student
