Deleted Preference in Library

Hey, I've a problem
I deleted my Preferences in my Library, now my Mac OS X Lion is WAAAAY slower...
What can I do? :(

Mac Mini (Late 2014) 2.6GHz Intel Core i5 Memory: 8GB 1600MHz DDR3
The Preferences folder holds plist files. When the associated app is opened, a new plist will be made if there isn't one. Seems unrelated to the sluggishness you're experiencing.

Seems a good moment to remind anyone who doesn't already have a backup to make one now - it tends to reduce the likelihood of this sort of "oops I deleted [....], please help" problems.
