Hi! I have an album in iPhoto that has both photos and videos. When I start a new project in iMovie, I drag the album from iPhoto in but only the pictures show up, not the videos. How do I get the videos in? Thanks!

Haven't used iMovie in awhile but I think you can import them (in the iMovie menu). Also, I believe iMovie will automatically build thumbnails of your iPhoto clips (not sure about this--itc has been quite a while). These will appear in the lower left hand portion of your window. The clips can be dragged and dropped into your project.

I will dig out my MBP and look and post back if I have anything to add.

EDIT: just checked. You can import using the file menu. But iMovie will automatically (configuration setting?) build an event library of your iPhoto and Aperture video clips.

+1 on import...it's the only way to get video into imovie 09 + Drag & drop will not work.
