Trackpad Click Problem?

I have had my macbook pro since October when the newer ones came out and haven't had a problem until yesterday. My trackpad feels messed up on the left side. There's like a two step click that happens when you click the left side of it. Nothing happened to it that would have caused this to happen. Does anyone know anything about it?

I do have the apple protection plan. Is that something that is covered on it?

Every MacBook Pro comes with a one year complimentary AppleCare warranty so your still under this agreement. You can extend this prior to your year being up.

Given what you describe as your issue, I would take it to your local Apple Store or call Apple Support.

And yes, your trackpad is covered.
