hello Forum,

is there a way to have my ATV remote stop doing things to my macbook? while i'm switching channels and whatnot on the ATV with the remote, if my macbook is open it will start playing a video, of something from iTunes or whatever. i tried turning off the bluetooth, but that made no difference.

thanks,
andrew

Enter System Preferences and then click on General and you should see a box you can check "Disable remote control infrared receiver."
