• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I dont know if this has happened to anyone else, but since it was brand new, iMovie has been freezing on me(the colorful wheel spins and doesnt leave untill i forcequit, and it says that iMovie is taking 90-105% cpu).

I have called the support line, and gone to a genius... both of which have failed to help my problem. They each thought that i needed to find a currupted file in my utilities folder, and the period directly after they "fixed it", it seemed to run fine. It was not long, however, untill it froze again!

What do you guys think? It happens at random times, and sometimes after the simplest command, like adding a title frame.

It is extremely infuriating and any help would be greatly appreciated!!
