Hello,

I've read that due to some technical RAM usage differences from Snow Leopard, Lion might slow down games and other apps after sleep mode. I usually don't turn the machine off, but rather but it to sleep and wake it up.

Do you guys have any advice to how you can change that feature so that it docent slow down after sleep mode?

Thanks

Where did you read that? Can you provide us with a source? I have not noticed any slowing down in games or anything else for that matter and I put both my Macs to sleep while using Lion quite a few times a day.

Looks like some users with ATI (AMD) graphics are being effected although it appears most are older units. Again, I have not noticed this and my iMac has an AMD Radeon HD 6750M.

That explains a ton. I can't play my games (yah, I know I'm too old for games xD) really at all now, as iput my computer to sleep a lot.

A substitute I found was to "go to login window" instead of sleep.
