I am new to this forum so bear with me if this request for asistance sounds stupid.
I have a Macbook Core2Duo running version 10.5.8. I have 2 problems which I am not sure if they are related:
1) when trying to do a 'Software Update' it just keeps trying to search forever saying 'checking for new software'
2) I have just been to relocated to Dubai. I keep trying to download news.bbc.co.uk and it goes on for a very long time if not forever. However, it will download bbc.co.uk. Same problem with cnn.com
I would be grateful for your help.
