when i boot up mountain lion, the apple startup shows up and then along with a debug screen and the macbook doesn't go any further, someone help pls

Boot to the recovery console and run Disk Utilities (verify and repair) to check your hard drive. Hold down the command + r keys and reboot the MacBook. Let us know what Disk Utility tells you.
