I am going through a dillema with my new mac mini. I currently have about 58 Gig of music on my external USB drive (NTFS, ported over from my old comp). I am attempting to have iTunes read the external drive for the mp3's without writing them to the Macintosh HD. I did a few searches on using an external drive for the source of music for iTunes, but I am assuming that the drives are HFS+. My question now whould be, since the external drive is formatted in NTFS is this even possible? I attempted to format another NTFS drive with no success at all. So I am looking into any other options that are availible. Thanks in advance for your help!
