I just bought my AppleTV and have been using it a lot. I'm having an issue every time I use it where the sound will randomly start buzzing along with whatever is playing (usually after at least an hour of use). It's happened during music as well as Netflix streaming.
I have the AppleTV plugged into my 55" Toshiba LCD 1080p, 240GHz TV using a brand new HDMI cable.
Has anyone else experienced this or have any advice? Also, can you explain the benefit of using the optical audio cable if the sound works through the HDMI cable?
