I have a intel macbook pro which I bought used 18months ago. At the time I also bought 10.5 family pack. I installed it on the laptop and my imac. Then got an old 10" powerbook g4 and installed 10.5 on that. Just picked up an emac g4 1Ghz 512 ram. System meets requirements for 10.5 but it only has a cd drive no DVD. I tried a usb DVD drive and I'm able to click on installer but I can't get to the languages screen to start install. Is there a way to get it in there?

Boot your MacBook Pro by using Target Mode from one of your other machines which has a DVD drive. (Both machines must be connected via Firewire.) Install Leopard on the MBP via the machine with the DVD drive.
