I'm a college student, and many of my professors give our notes in PDF format. Since I've found no feasible (i.e., inexpensive) options for taking notes directly on a PDF document, I've been converting the notes to Preview. **-ly crap is it the SLOWEST app I've ever encountered. I can't write 4-5 words before I get the spinning wheel. It also slows down all the other apps that I have running with it. I love taking notes with it during the 5 seconds I can actually type, but I can't continue missing my professors comments while I wait. I've heard of people having this problem before, but I haven't been able to fix it. Does anyone have any suggestions for either speeding up Preview or for taking notes directly on a PDF (with a cheap, less than $10, or free program). Thanks for your help in advance!
