waking up with ac adapter

i dont know if this is unusual,
when my ibook is closed and asleep,
if i plug in the ac, it will wake up for a few seconds, then fall asleep again

Happens to mine sometimes too. I think it's pretty normal since when you run out of battery power, your iBook goes into Sleep mode and whenever you plug in the AC, it wakes back up to allow you to continue working, regardless of whether the lid was closed or not.

I think you can turn that option off using Cocktail

it's under System > Sleep > Wake the computer when power source changed
